Are your products handmade?

Yes. Earth Angel by Brittany products are made in small batches with care and intention. Because many of our items are handmade, slight variations in color, texture, appearance, or consistency may naturally occur from batch to batch.

We think that is part of what makes handmade products special.

Where are your products made?

Our current products are handcrafted in small batches in Kansas City, Missouri.

Some legacy products may have originally been created or poured in Austin, Texas, and this may be noted on individual product pages.

What type of candle wicks do you use?

Purple Rain is currently our only candle featuring a wooden wick. Its crackling wooden wick is made from FSC-certified wood and handcrafted in the USA.

Our other candles use 100% cotton wicks selected to provide a clean, consistent burn.

How should I care for my candle wick?

Proper wick care helps your candle burn more evenly and last longer.

Always trim your wick to approximately 1/4 inch before every burn, including wooden wicks. Allow your candle to cool completely before trimming.

For easy maintenance, pair your candle with an Earth Angel by Brittany Wick Trimmer.

How long do your candles burn?

Our 8 oz. candles have an approximate burn time of 40 hours when burned and maintained properly.

Burn time may vary depending on wick care, room conditions, and how long the candle is burned at one time.

Do you offer candle refills?

Yes. Candle refills are available for select Earth Angel by Brittany fragrances.

For our Kansas City-area customers, we can collect your reusable vessel, sanitize it, refill it, and return it ready for another burn.

Candle refill availability is currently limited to the Kansas City, Missouri metro area.

Do you offer body scrub refills?

Yes. Bring back or send in your eligible Earth Angel by Brittany body scrub vessel and we can sanitize and refill it with your selected fragrance.

Free delivery is available within Kansas City, Missouri, and out-of-state shipping options are available.

How long do your body butters last?

Our body butters have a shelf life of approximately 12 months when stored properly.

With regular use, a 4 oz. jar may last several months because our whipped formulas are rich and concentrated. A little truly goes a long way.

Body butter care instructions are included with your purchase.

How should I store my body butter?

Store your body butter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Because our butters are made with rich oils and butters, warmer temperatures may cause the texture to soften or melt. This does not necessarily mean the product has gone bad, but the whipped texture may change.

Why does my body butter look or feel different than my last jar?

Our body butters are handmade in small batches, so slight differences in texture, firmness, or appearance can occur.

Temperature can also affect natural butters and oils, especially during warmer or colder months.

Are your body products suitable for sensitive skin?

Many of our formulas are designed to feel gentle and nourishing, but everyone's skin is different.

We recommend reviewing the ingredient list before use and performing a small patch test when trying a new product, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.

Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Do any of your products contain nut oils?

Some do.

Several Earth Angel by Brittany products contain ingredients such as almond oil or coconut oil. Allergy information is listed on applicable product pages, but customers with known allergies should always review the complete ingredient list before purchasing or using a product or simply shoot us an email.

Why does my natural product separate?

Some of our products contain naturally derived ingredients that may settle or separate over time.

This is normal. If the product instructions recommend it, simply shake or stir before use.

Are your products preservative-free?

Some of our products, including select body butters, are made without preservatives. Other products may require a preservative depending on their formulation.

Always refer to the individual product page for the most accurate ingredient information.

Can I use Earth Angel by Brittany products on my face?

Unless a product is specifically labeled for facial use, we recommend using it only as directed on the product page.

Facial skin can be more sensitive than the skin on the body, so products designed for body exfoliation or cleansing should not automatically be assumed to be suitable for the face.

Are your products safe for children and pets?

Our home products are created with thoughtful ingredients, but they should always be used according to the directions provided.

Keep candles, fragrance products, bath products, and household powders out of reach of children and pets. Products intended for topical or household use should not be ingested.

If accidental ingestion occurs or a child or pet shows signs of illness, contact an appropriate medical professional, veterinarian, or poison control service.

Do you use dyes or additives in your candles?

Our candles are made without dyes and are crafted with thoughtfully selected ingredients. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches.

Why should I choose reusable vessels?

Many Earth Angel by Brittany products are intentionally packaged in vessels that can be reused or refilled.

We love creating products that feel beautiful in your home while giving the packaging a life beyond the final use.

How can I get the most out of my Earth Angel by Brittany products?

Follow the care and use instructions included with your product, store products properly, and pay attention to any allergy or safety notes listed on the product page.

A little care goes a long way, whether you are trimming your candle wick, keeping your body butter away from heat, or returning your favorite vessel for a refill.
